Show Procedure und Judging
All horses in a class are to be led into the ring at a walk. Individual presentations will then follow, in accordance with the instructions of the ring steward. For the individual presentation, horses must be led into the show ring at a walk, followed by the stand-up of the horse and subsequently the presentation at a trot.
Three judges will judge each class independently and without a catalogue, based on the following criteria:
• Type (Breed & Sex)
• Head and Neck
• Body
• Legs
• Movement
The 20-point system with half points will be applied.
Tie-break rule (ex aequo): In the event of a tie (ex aequo) between horses qualified in a show class, the higher placement will be awarded to the horse with the highest score for Type. If a tie still exists, the higher placement will be awarded to the horse with the highest score for Movement. If the tie is still not broken, the highest and lowest scores for Type and Movement will be eliminated and the remaining scores added together. If a tie still persists, one judge will be chosen by lot to declare his/her preference. (This applies to places 1 to 5 in each individual class.)
